Madagascar : l’ENSV-FVI remporte le jumelage « Appui au renforcement du dispositif de surveillance et de contrôle de la qualité et conformité sanitaire et phytosanitaire des produits agricoles et agroalimentaires » MG 19 FED AG 01 21

Madagascar: ENSV-FVI wins the twinning « Support for strengthening the surveillance and control system of the sanitary and phytosanitary quality and conformity of agricultural and food products » MG 19 FED AG 01 21

En partenariat avec IZS Teramo & IZSUM Perugia (Italie), l’ENSV-FVI, leader de ce projet, se voit confier le jumelage « Appui au renforcement du dispositif de surveillance et de contrôle de la qualité et conformité sanitaire et phytosanitaire des produits agricoles et agroalimentaires » à Madagascar.

Ce jumelage est financé à hauteur de 2 M€ par l’Union européenne et s’inscrit dans le cadre d’un programme régional d’appui à la sécurité alimentaire et nutritionnelle (PRESAN) dans l’Océan Indien, qui vise entre autre à promouvoir les échanges agricoles entre les 5 Etats membres de la Commission de l’Océan Indien (COI).

Il comporte cinq thématiques :

  • Cadre réglementaire et législatif
  • Amélioration du fonctionnement interne des services
  • Renforcement des capacités opérationnelles en matière de surveillance SPS
  • Mise en place et/ou renforcement des systèmes d’information
  • Communication et intégration régionale

La durée de ce projet est de deux ans, au cours desquels de nombreux experts, français et italiens, apporteront leurs compétences.

In partnership with IZS Teramo and IZSUM Perugia (Italy), the ENSV-FVI, leader of this project, is in charge of the Twinning «Support for strengthening the surveillance and control system of the sanitary and phytosanitary quality and conformity of agricultural and agri-food products» in Madagascar. This twinning is financed up to 2M€ by the European Union and is part of a regional support program for food and nutritional security (PRESAN) in the Indian Ocean, which aims, among other things, to promote agricultural exchanges between the 5 Member States of the Indian Ocean Commission (COI).

Five themes will be worked on:

  • Regulatory and legislative framework
  • Improvement of the internal functioning of the services
  • Reinforcement of operational capacities in terms of SPS surveillance
  • Establishment and/or strengthening of information systems
  • Communication and regional integration

The duration of this project is two years, during which many French and Italian experts will share their experience and skill.
