Lancement de trois nouveaux programmes de coopération en santé publique vétérinaire avec l’Algérie en 2021.

Dans le cadre d’un appel d’offres proposé en mars 2020 par l’Ambassade de France à Alger, l’ENSV-FVI a obtenu, fin 2020, le cofinancement de trois nouveaux projets de coopération avec ses partenaires algériens :

  • Appui à la mise en place de dispositifs de formation des vétérinaires publics et privés, avec la Direction des Services Vétérinaires algérienne (2021) ;
  • Appui au renforcement des capacités de diagnostic de confirmation des pathologies animales, zoonotiques et à transmission vectorielle, avec l’Institut national de médecine vétérinaire (2021/22) ;
  • Appui au renforcement des capacités analytiques de contrôle génétique des matrices alimentaires d’origine animale et de détection quantitative des contaminations médicamenteuses et métalliques dans les produits animaux, avec l’Institut national de médecine vétérinaire (2021/22).

En outre, un programme d’appui à l’élaboration et au déploiement d’une politique publique de sécurité sanitaire des produits de la pêche et de l’aquaculture, en cours depuis 2019, va être redynamisé.

Tous ces programmes débuteront en février en distanciel, en attendant de pouvoir reprendre les missions et visites d’études prévues initialement dans les programmes. Un appel à experts commun à l’ensemble de ces programmes sera prochainement lancé pour mobiliser les experts français éventuellement intéressés.

Launching of three new cooperation programmes in Veterinary Public Health with Algeria in 2021.

Within the framework of a call for tenders proposed in March 2020 by the French Embassy in Algiers, ENSV-FVI obtained, at the end of 2020, the co-financing of three new cooperation projects with its Algerian partners:

  • Support for the implementation of training programs for public and private veterinarians, with the Algerian Directorate of Veterinary Services (2021);
  • Support for strengthening diagnostic capacities for the confirmation of animal, zoonotic and vector-borne pathologies, with the National Institute of Veterinary Medicine (2021/22);
  • Support for strengthening analytical capacities for the genetic control of food matrices of animal origin and the quantitative detection of drug and metal contamination in animal products, with the National Institute of Veterinary Medicine (2021/22).

In addition, a program to support the development and deployment of a public policy on health safety of fishery and aquaculture products, which is ongoing since 2019, will be revitalised.

All these programmes will start in February through e-expertise, pending the possibility of resuming the missions and study visits initially planned in the programmes. A call for experts on all these programmes will soon be launched to mobilise French experts who might be interested.
